I have been involved in advertising, marketing and illustration for a quarter of a century. For the first 15 years of my career I worked in several Australian advertising agencies beginning as an art director and finishing as creative director. During this time I worked on many major brands and created campaigns which featured on television, cinema, press, magazine and outdoor media. In 2009, I left the corporate agency world to set up my own successful small agency; Giant Advertising.
I have always been interested in art, painting and illustration. During my adverting agency days I often provided the finished illustrations and artwork for press and print campaigns. Although I was trained in traditional media such as pen and ink, watercolour, gouache and airbrush, I have more recently taken these fine art skills and crossed over into the digital domain where I use Illustrator and Photoshop to create computer-generated illustrations which still have a traditional look and feel about them.
